Seventeenth day of the journey, part two
There is the former house of the buoy-keeper on the island Telyachyi.
After the island Telyachyi one can see the backwater Oktyabrskyi.
On the left side we are passing a small island that was not there 40 years ago. In the distance one can see the city Nizhny Novgorod.
There is a duct through which we will enter the backwater.
To starboard there is Koziy (Goat) island. With the sounds of the song "fatigue submarine" we are entering the backwater.
We have gone the channel. On the port side one can see the backwater with ships moored for winter. There is the bay Babenskaya on the left side.
To starboard portion of the village, called the Old Mountain. Far behind the island Koziy (Goat) one can see Telyachiya Volozhka.
There is the shipbuilding and ship repair plant on the right.
Plant slip-way and the water tower, which is the same as in the backwater Parizhskoy kommuni (Paris Commune).
There is the ship "Konstantin Fedin" moored on the right. Here in this narrow place our ship has to turn around and moor to the ship "Konstantin Fedin".
180-degree turn on the spot. Anchor at. I put camera to my bag and went ashore.
